Membership Information
We invite you to join our exciting and fun organization. Founded in 2006 we already have over 90 members...and hundreds of individuals on our email contact list. Our members are primarily based in Ontario though we boast members from across Canada and from many US states. We are involved in our community and give back annually to a terrific local charity.
All are welcome to join our organization. We do not discriminate on any basis and we encourage individuals of all backgrounds, interests and abilities. Our members are men, women...gay, lesbian and straight. They are single, coupled...and sometimes in between.
Some of our members are competitive or recreational cowboys/cowgirls. Some members have a desire to learn rodeo skills or to improve their knowledge/skills around horses. Some members enjoy country/western music or dance. Some just enjoy wearing western gear and sharing a drink and a laugh in an environment that is friendly, fun and engaging.
Our members receive invitations to all CCGRA events and are welcome to participate at CCGRA members meetings. Members are entitled to run for office within the CCGRA and to vote at the AGM. Members receive a laminated card to recognize their membership. Members also receive our Hitching Post newsletter...one of the best throughout the IGRA. Members receive discounts at various vendors including 20% at Bootmaster in Toronto, 10% at Priape stores and 20% at Naughty But Nice in Oshawa, ON. Members have the exclusive right to purchase the beautiful CCGRA blue/black 'competition' rodeo shirts. Finally, members will also be entitled to discounted admission to CCGRA Events.
